Q: Why should I enroll my child in KidsActingAcademy?

No other program offers the lasting benefits of KidsActingAcademy, serving ages 5 – 18. You owe it to your child to give him/her the skills he/she will need to be successful. In today's competitive marketplace, it is often the person who is best able to express his/her ideas and present a confident self-image that is most successful. These are exactly the types of skills that we seek to build in your child. Classes are only 4 hours per week, and offered in several different days, making it easy to schedule after school or on weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Q: How is KidsActingAcademy different than other drama programs?

Ours is not an average acting program. KIDSACTINGACADEMY provides professional on-camera acting classes taught by working film and television actors in Mumbai. We help kids learn from our highly experienced and influential instructors, actors and writers who are particularly skilled in working with young actors. They develop your child's ability to its fullest potential. Here we treat every child like a star. Each week we do a different play in class challenging your child with new roles and new situations. Students learn to work together as a team without the awkward competition for roles that sometimes develops in other drama programs. Most importantly, at KidsActingAcademy we focus on building the skills that your child will need to be a happy, successful, outgoing participant in life. Over the years, our curriculum and techniques have been proven to be effective in building these skills in children.

Q: When and where are your classes offered?

Our program runs continuously throughout the year. We offer classes at a variety of convenient locations. Classes are only 4 hours per week, and offered in several different days, making it easy to schedule after school or on weekend (Saturday and Sunday).

Q: Are students grouped by age?

Yes. Our classes are structured so that children can enroll as per age group and interest. Please see Courses for relevant information on our age groupings.

Q: Who teaches your classes?

Our kids are taught by working film and television actors in Mumbai. We help kids learn from our highly experienced and influential instructors, actors and writers who are particularly skilled in working with young actors. They develop your child's ability to its fullest potential. Our faculty is what makes each class truly special.

Q: What is your class size?

Class sizes are limited to 10 students. This allows our teachers to give each student the individual praise and recognition they need to build confidence and achieve their personal best.

Q: Can my child observe a class?

At KidsActingAcademy, we let children to observe a class or two before opting to participate and enroll for our courses. This helps them to get a feel of our teaching methods.

Q: Are parents allowed to watch the class?

Having parents observe the class distracts the students and may prevent them from becoming completely engaged in the class. For this reason, though the parents are allowed to stay during the class, we don’t let them in the classroom. In addition, parents are invited into the classroom to see an informal presentation of a portion of the child’s development at the teacher's discretion.

Q: Are your classes appropriate for my shy child?

Our classes are designed to help your child develop the self-confidence and verbal communication skills he/she needs to be a happy, outgoing, articulate individual. We create a safe, supportive environment in which soft-spoken children have the opportunity to practice these skills without the fear of being ridiculed. Parents saw the remarkable benefits of class participation and a noticeable improvement in their child's confidence within a few weeks of joining us.

Q: Are your classes appropriate for my outgoing child?

Yes! We have many children in our program who are naturally outspoken and dramatic. They enjoy our class because it gives them an outlet for their natural creative ability. They also develop the skill, focus and ability to take direction that is sometimes lacking in the gregarious child.

Q: How much does your course cost?

Fees varies depending upon the course opted. Also it is discussed once the child gets through the selection procedure.

Q: How do I register my child?

Joining our academy is a very special experience. We are committed to developing our students through an outstanding, high quality program taught by our dynamic teaching staff. Mr. Roy needs to interact with your child for the initial screening. If the kid is selected for the course, you can choose the programme you wish to opt for.
